The Polish Chemical Society, with nearly 100 years of tradition, is a scientific association and a public benefit institution whose primary goal is to support chemical sciences and disseminate knowledge of chemistry in society.
The Polish Chemical Society's activities are focused on:
- organizing seminars, conferences, and scientific meetings
- organizing public lectures, lectures, and courses
- publishing its own scientific journals and other publications within the Society's scope of activities
- participating in international consortia publishing scientific journals
- providing substantive support for the Chemistry Olympiad
- establishing libraries and accumulating library collections
- collaborating with student research groups
- collaborating with scientific institutions and the economic community.
The Polish Chemical Society also:
- awards distinctions and awards for achievements in chemistry and related disciplines
- promotes chemistry nationally and socially
- It speaks on matters important to the development of chemical sciences and chemistry education.
The Rzeszów Branch of the Polish Chemical Society carries out some of these tasks within the scope of its activities in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
